FAQ

Is this a rinse-off cleanser?

No; unlike most cleansing balms that are rinse-offs, our cleanser contains no foaming agents (which are common barrier disruptors). To remove, simply use a wet cotton pad or wash cloth to wipe off impurities.

Do I need to double cleanse with this balm?

No need to double cleanse, but on nights when your skin is feeling very congested, repeat the cleansing balm application twice to deeply purge impurities - your skin will feel clean and clear.

What are PEGs and why do you avoid them?

PEGs are derived from petroleum and used as solvents, thickeners and penetration enhancers in formulas. We avoid them since PEGs can irritate and damage the skin barrier. Check your cleanser, we're almost certain it will contain PEGs (or fragrance, which are also barrier disruptors).

Can I use the balm as a face mask or moisturizer?

Absolutely. Many of our customers have used the balm as an intense hydrating face mask, lip balm, mixed with their serums or moisturizer to boost hydration and applied as a cosmetic highlighter.
